On August 14 my wife called the ambulance because I was experiencing difficulties. I am 79 years old and just returned from VGH after having a cardiogram.
The ambulance was here in about 10 minutes, 2 very compassionate attendants, Jeff and Courtney, took me to Surrey Memorial Hospital. Within 30 minutes I was ushered into the Emergency Room into a cubicle on a bed.
Dr. Lai was the physician who attended to me, ordered lots of bloodwork, and an x ray. The nurses were very attentive first Naisha then Chris (Christina). After about 4 hours I was sent home with instructions to connect with my GP and cardiologist. I would like you to let them all know how much I appreciated their professionalism, care and attention.
