Effective Teaching and Learner Integration in Busy Clinical Settings at SMH & JPOCSC

The Vancouver Fraser Medical Program (VFMP) invites clinical faculty and preceptors at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) to join an interactive faculty development session focused on effective clinical teaching and learner integration in busy clinical settings. This faculty development activity has been certified by UBC Continuing Professional Development for up to 1.5 MOC group learning credits or 1.5 Mainpro+ credits.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify teaching placements and opportunities at SMH.
- Describe evidence-informed approaches for teaching effectively within high-volume clinical environments.
- Integrate and apply selected teaching strategies to enhance their own clinical teaching practice at SMH or JPOCSC.
