Shout‑out to Dr. Eugene Strovski. Despite a busy evening, Dr. Strovski provided crucial after‑hours radiologic support for a complex case. Given the diagnostic complexity of the case and prior attempts that were not diagnostic, we discussed proceeding to VATS biopsy, which carried additional risk in the setting of the patient’s recent, multiple episodes of life‑threatening hemoptysis.
Dr. Strovski identified a viable alternate femur biopsy target, giving the patient a safer diagnostic option and real choice.
