I would like to send a shout out to SMH Site Leaders from North 51. We realize the challenges in organizing the patients throughout the hospital to the appropriate units and are grateful that the Site Leaders are supportive of our Oncology program and prioritize N51 getting their oncology beds when discharges don’t happen, but the admits for chemo must still come.
It is a very stressful situation for our unit when we don’t have our needed beds, but knowing the Site Leaders are in our corner making things happen does take some of the stress off. Just wanted to ensure their team was aware how appreciative we are for their ongoing support.
